Hi JSJ Families!

My name is Ms. Lamb and I am joining JSJ as your new school counselor! I am so excited to join this amazing school! This is my first year as a counselor. I graduated from Auburn University with my Masters degree in May, and my Bachelors degree from UGA in 2023. I am from Atlanta, Georgia and moved up here this April. I love to read, run, try new restaurants, and travel. I am looking forward to building relationships with my students and this community! I am thrilled to help our students grow and thrive in every aspect of their lives.

Guidance Program

The Guidance Program at John S. Jones Elementary is a comprehensive program designed to meet the needs of all of our students. The curriculum offers individual and group planning, responsive services, and provide community support. Examples of guidance activities include:

My goal is to assist students to learn the skills and attitudes required for school success. I place strong emphasis on helping students develop self-awareness, self-esteem, and character education.
